(March) Sundays at Tiffany's

As I was trying to come up with a new book to read, one of my friends let me borrow this book --Sundays at Tiffany's (by James Patterson and Garbrielle Charbonnet). I had never read any of Patterson or Charbonnet's books before. But I took a leap of faith with this book, not really knowing what it was about and whether I would really and truly like it. Reading this book blew my mind away. It was interesting, funny and kept me glue to what would happen next as I read page after page. I learned things with the characters and wondered what would happen next.
The book begans with a young girl and her imaginary friend :) and then night that he, Michael, leaves the young girl behind, saying you will forget me. As the book moves on, the book returns to the girl, now a young woman, who is still being pushed around looking for love in all the wrong places. A woman who has written a play as a way to remember an imaginary frined she had as a young girl. As luck would have it, she eventually runs into her imaginary friend, as they get to know each other once more. Things change for her friend and her.

Memorable quotes:
"Of course I was okay, those Sundays, because I had Michael for company. Michael, who was my best friend in the world, maybe my only friend, when I was eight years old.
My imaginary friend." (pg 9)
